Classes meet for five to six weeks with a full production concluding each session. Students learn aspects of theatre through theatre games, rehearsals, performances, and workshops that include tests.  No worries! The tests are for the student's use to find out how much he/she knows about theatre. However, we do give an award to the student with highest scores in each class.  Our summer program wraps up with a banquet held at Bridgewood Resort in Neenah.  Awards given are for Thespian, Academic and Storyteller.  The 13-18 year old students are given additional awards based on their attitude, participation and understanding of theatre. All students receive a Certificate of Completion.   All students will audition to determine their role.  Everyone is cast in the show!

Samantha Raspel

Sam grew up in the theatre, watching and learning from her dad, Jim Hart. She loved being on stage! A couple of her favorite roles she has played are Eponine in Les Miserables (16 years old), Bird Girl in Seussical (17 years old) and Anita in West Side Story (18 years old).

Not only did she love being on stage, but she also enjoyed doing the technical side of things, running lights and sound, teaching choreography, and more!

Now, Sam is following in her dad’s footsteps with directing and teaching. Sam has a passion for young people and inspires them to express themselves through acting and singing. This is her fourth summer directing and teaching and she is excited to be leading another summer of shows with Jubricosa!

Dillon Moore

Dillon joined Jubricosa at age 8 when his grandmother paid for his first summer session, and the rest is history! He looked forward to Jubricosa, learning theatre and life skills. He loved being in every production from playing the iconic role of Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie to creating ensemble characters in Les Miserables.

He graduated from the program in 2017 after ten years and attended UW-Madison where he participated in extracurricular theatre and a-cappella singing groups while earning a degree in English and Philosophy. He spent summers assisting Jubricosa, where he found a passion for teaching young people.

Since graduating college, he has helped the Hart family with six productions while turning his English degree into a secondary education license at UW-Oshkosh. He is so excited to continue helping young people gain self-confidence and responsibility through theatre this summer!

Liza has been a part of JuBriCoSa as long as she can remember. Growing up in the program, she was given several opportunities from the Hart's to take on leadership roles within productions. She helped with choreography, hair and makeup. props, teching, or whatever was needed.

She started directing the younger students when she was in high school and loved it. Liza spent 3 years student directing before graduating, and was asked to come back during her summers in college to direct in Neenah.

She graduated from UWEC in May 2022 and is now teaching 6th grade Literacy in Sun Prairie. She is so excited to be back where her heart is, with JuBriCoSa!
