Justun                            Julie Hart

Justun is excited to return home to Wisconsin after performing throughout the country as a professional actor. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he earned a BFA in Musical Theatre and a BA in Business Administration. After graduating, Justun moved to New York City to begin his career in the theatre industry.  His acting career has taken Justun coast to coast on multiple National Tours, including: How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Appeared as Grinch) and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Adam). In addition, Justun has appeared in several regional productions, including: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Adam), Oklahoma! (Jud), and most recently in Samson (Samson) at Sight and Sound Theatre, where had the pleasure of meeting his wife! Justun has had the privilege of working on staged readings (most recently Pieces with the Associate Director of Once on Broadway) and performing in cabarets throughout NYC (New World Stages, 54 Below). Outside of theatre, Justun has enjoyed over 10 years of teaching and directing! He has worked as an instructor for Jubricosa Theatre in Oshkosh, Broadway Connection while on tour, as well as with numerous school districts in the area (Winneconne, Oshkosh, Waukesha, and Neenah). 

Julie is happy to be back in Wisconsin with her husband Justun, after 10 years of performing full time! She was most recently seen as Delilah in Samson at Sight and Sound Theatres.  Other Sight and Sound credits include, Mary in Miracle of Christmas, and Lady Potiphar in Joseph.  Other regional credits include Luisa in The Fantasticks, and Smitty in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. This past May, Julie had the privilege and honor of working and singing with and along side of Stephen Schwartz in his Defying Gravity concert through Prima Theatre in Lancaster, PA.  Stephen Schwartz is the composer of numerous Broadway musicals such as Wicked, Godspell, and Pippin, and also composed the music for Disney’s Prince of Egypt and Pocahontas.

Information on Summer Master Classes

A Summary: This is a class designed for advanced students who are looking to succeed at the next level, both collegiate and professional. The main areas of focus will be: How to Select Appropriate Material, How to Create an Effective Audition Repertoire and Book, How to Market Yourself, Wardrobe Selection, Finding Your Type, Creating a Professional Headshot and Résumé, and many other bits of practical advice on how to navigate a professional career in the performing arts. In addition, students will be preparing audition material to be performed in front of theatre industry professionals, ranging from college professors to Broadway directors.

WHEN: June 19th-July 30th   Noon-1 p.m. (Mon/Wed for Fox Cities Campus, Tues/Thurs for Oshkosh Campus).

          Showcase on Sunday, July 30th for the general public and invited guest panel, including college professors and professional directors.

WHO: Open to all high school and college students (Fundamental understanding and experience in acting required for this course)

WHERE: Two locations! Students enrolled in the Fox Cities class will meet at 400 3rd Street in Menasha (formerly Fox Cinema) and students enrolled in the Oshkosh class will meet at Oakbrook Church in Oshkosh. The final showcase for the class will be held at the Menasha location.

COST: $100 for the entire 5-week program, including a Q&A with the invited guest panel and a recording of the showcase to use for personal

and professional use.
